Bio

My name is Avid (not really, but I've become a bit wary of putting my real name on these journals). I'm 18 years old, a freshman at Winthrop University, and openly gay. I'm nonpartisan, nonreligious (I believe in all the gods in every religion, I just choose not to follow any of them), and I also lack what people would call "give a shit". I am something of a realist, but I also like a number of aspects of the surreal (for one, I completely believe in ghosts and still believe I have had a number of encounters). I have an extremely vivid imagination (some call it "rampant") and put it to good use whenever I can. This imagination helps feed my massive case of ADD. I'm also a whore to techno/dance music. My iTunes count recently hit 8,000, and 1,300+ of those songs fall under the categories techno, electronic, dance, trance, house, and eurodance. I've even dabbled in making some techno songs of my own (they're okay, but that's why I'm "dj avid").
